Dubai is a really sort after spot, for many celebrities and people seeking luxury and glamour, especially when you want to stay in the world’s only seven star hotel. Hire a chauffeured stretch limousine for the day to deliver you to the top end shops such as Gucci and Armani, finishing off your day at one of the city’s popular bars or restaurants. The Palm islands is one of the many things that made people take notice – the largest artificial island, built between 2001 and 2006, which is home to a number of mega million pound mansions and a few 5 star hotels, with a number of A listed celebrities being the first to jump at the idea.

Things here happen quite quick – early 1990’s Dubai was a sleepy backwater, with no real excitement and no real movement, home to fisherman and pearl divers. Over years after their rulers set out a very strategic plan from mainly being an oil based economy by focusing on business, leisure and tourism – since this, things have seriously picked up the pace. It’s a city continuously improving and growing stronger, with new beautiful modern properties and hotels popping up seemingly overnight, and rarely you don’t hear about a new project appearing somewhere in the city each week.

Dubai is a multi cultural hot spot, with over 200 nationalities calling it home and with an incredible 90% of the population from outside the country, Dubai is arguably one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. The city is mostly first-generation expats, which brings with it a host of new cultural traditions.

You may decide to go shopping at the famous Dubai Mall which is the world’s largest, covering 12 million square feet. If that doesn’t really appeal to you, the mall also boasts an underwater zoo, aquarium, ice skating rink, cinema, KidZania and children’s theme park. An incredible amount of activities to do within one shopping centre!

Resort Worldwide will be releasing Dubai properties across Dubai’s gorgeous sea front on the 22nd January – if you’d like to keep up to date with our latest news and release of properties, please sign up to our Newsletter.
